Luxor: Pharaoh’s Pheast Buffet – I’ve only eaten breakfast here, and though the scale is obviously massive, there’s very little about it that’s different from your average hotel breakfast buffet. That’s not a criticism, because the food is perfectly acceptable, but if you’re actually after something interesting and higher-quality, visit either Thomas Keller’s Bouchon or one of the two top-notch patisseries (Jean Philippe and Lenôtre).
