Producteurs Plaimont “Les Vignes Retrouvées” 2004 Côtes de Saint-Mont (Southwest France) – Dry earth, peanut and old topaz fruit. The acidity is decent, but what stands out about this wine is its thoroughly uncomplicated, easy-going rusticity. A fine value, as always. (4/07)
