The Wine Mule

Edwardian Script and Constellar, if I'm not mistaken.
Somebody grows Aligoté in California's Central Coast…can't remember, too lazy to google.
Hommage? Lack of imagination? Bad impulse? It's hard to believe someone would think "Sales will soar if I copy Aubert's label, and the legions of de Villaine Bouzeron fans happen to walk by my wine and mistake it for his."
What were you expecting… Comic Sans? It’s Sonata Pro-Regular. Nice font and a Elizabeth Spencer is a nice wine at the price point. Might just be aspiration, no?
I was expecting them to not steal in a completely obvious and stupid way. And no, they are not comparable to de Villaine. If one aspired to de Villaine, one would not shamelessly rip off de Villaine.

Calera grows aligoté. Maybe not who you were thinking of.
